Ideas Into Action captures the voices of 150 Nelson BC community members who shared over 450 ideas on community strengths, priority social issues and recommended actions.
Through the coming year SPAN will utilize this input to help inform collaborative social planning and action in the community.
This community based research project took place in the spring of 2013. Local media partnered to get the word out about the community survey and residents shared their input via the survey online and in person at key locations including the Nelson library.
On July 12, 2013 the Social Planning Action Network Society presented City Council with key findings.
